WESTMED Medical Group was chosen as the winner in the Entrepreneurial Success category for the 2011 Westchester County Business Hall of Fame. Induction into the Westchester County Business Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award for a business or individual who has made a significant contribution to their company and the Westchester business community.

Recently, Dr. Simeon Schwartz was a speaker on a panel at the New York Academy of Medicine in New York City on the topic of "Models of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in NY - Issues of Quality and Cost."  He spoke about WESTMED's quality care, how value matters in healthcare and about the challenge of leveraging costs and quality.  The panel included representatives from leading ACOs in the State of New York.
