    What We Do

Interventional cardiologists are physicians who are triple board certified, in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. These specialists use minimally invasive procedures to treat coronary artery blockages or other heart-related conditions.

    Conditions We Treat

Our physician treats numerous forms of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and heart valve disease. He also sees patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, unstable angina, heart block and acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Our interventional cardiologist uses cardiac catheterization to evaluate coronary arteries and heart valve function, and determines the necessary forms of treatment. Procedures are performed at a hospital’s cardiac catheterization laboratory on an outpatient basis.

    Modes of Treatment

Our interventional cardiologist performs a wide range of procedures to treat cardiovascular disease, including:

    Diagnostic coronary angiograms
    Stenting (including drug-coated stenting)
    Carotid stenting
    ACID (defibrillator) implantation
    Pacemaker implantation
    Endovascular aneurysm repair
Embolic protection, including IVC filter placement
    Percutaneous mitral valve repair
    Balloon valvuloplasty
    Coronary artery bypass grafts
    Repair of congenital defects

    Why We’re Different

Our highly experienced, board-certified interventional cardiologist has advanced training in vascular medicine, which allows him to perform an array of complex procedures. Patient safety remains our physician’s top priority.
