Dr. Michael Suzman has directed the plastic surgery department at WESTMED Medical Group since 2002. He completed his training in plastic surgery at The Cornell and Columbia Universities Combined Division of Plastic Surgery of The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and The Hospital for Special Surgery. He was awarded the Goulian Prize for Academic Excellence in Plastic Surgery as well as the Coryell Prize for the highest distinction in surgery at Cornell. Dr. Suzman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University, studied at Oxford University, and went on to receive his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. He then completed a four-year residency in general surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital prior to his plastic surgery training program. He was awarded an American Heart Association research fellowship for his basic science research in surgery at Cornell.

Rhinoplasty, face lift surgery, breast surgery, abdominoplasty, and skin cancer surgery are among Dr. Suzman’s most common procedures.

Dr. Suzman is on staff at Greenwich Hospital, White Plains Hospital Center, and Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center. He is a clinical instructor in surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
