Anthony Viceroy, CEO

Anthony Viceroy is the chief executive officer of WESTMED Medical Group, one of the nation’s leading Anthony Viceroy - WESTMEDmultispecialty medical practices serving Westchester and Fairfield counties. An integrated, physician-owned medical group, WESTMED is renowned for advanced technology, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, coordinated clinical care and a “one-stop shopping” medical experience at its full-service polyclinics.

As a comprehensive multispecialty group, WESTMED’s more than 130 primary care physicians and 40 medical specialties provide care to over 300,000 patients. Mr. Viceroy oversees the strategic development of the organization, which has consistently grown 20 percent per year, resulting in a current medical and administrative team of more than 450 providers and approximately 1,100 employees.

Having previously served as CFO of WESTMED, Viceroy brings to the position a strong fiscal background with deep knowledge in the containment of healthcare costs. Working with both payers and providers, Viceroy delivers patient-centered solutions to the challenges in an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Focused on service excellence, Viceroy works diligently to inspire a corporate culture of employee engagement at WESTMED that reflects its core values of quality, efficiency and service throughout the entire patient experience.

Before joining WESTMED, Mr. Viceroy spent 10 years at Omnicom Group, one of the world’s largest global marketing and communications organizations, as global president and CFO of Porter Novelli, a worldwide public relations firm within Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services (DAS) division. In this position, Viceroy led business functions and operations to drive performance improvement and capture efficiency for global brands like HP, McDonald's, P&G, SXSW, and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services as its clients. He joined Porter Novelli from DAS, where he was senior vice president of financial management and client partnership.

Prior to joining Omnicom Group, Mr. Viceroy spent five years as the North American treasurer of the Danish biopharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. 

Mr. Viceroy is a certified public accountant and a charted global management accountant. He received his MBA in global management and corporate finance from Fordham University, and his BBA in public accounting from Iona College.

He is a member of the board and treasurer for The Bob Woodruff Foundation, which provides resources and support to armed services members, veterans and their families. In addition, Mr. Viceroy is also a member of the board of directors of the Bedford Physicians Risk Retention Group, Inc. and the Business Council of Westchester.
