WESTMED has won a Silver award for its Web site in the “Best Patient Access & Convenience” category for 2011, based on an entry our practice submitted to the eHealthcare Leadership Awards. These awards highlight the Internet's role in healthcare-related companies' efforts to reach the communities they serve.

Nearly 1,200 entries were received from a wide range of healthcare organizations. A total of 114 individuals familiar with healthcare and the Internet judged the entries. Award winners ranged from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies.

Winners were recognized on November 9, 2011 during a special presentation at the 15th annual Healthcare Internet conference in Orlando, FL.

Last year, WESTMED placed with distinction in the “Best Site Design” category.

Winners are allowed to display each year’s Leadership Awards logo on their Web sites.
